The Future of Energy

The Economist had a special report on The Future of Energy. There are 9 articles, so it is a lot of reading, but lots of good stuff and well worth the time if you ask me.

I'm researching the Feasibility of Solar Power without Storage in the United States, but looking at the hourly solar data and electrical demand in 13 cities.

Not that you need to read the report, but it's not too long, and I thought you might find it interesting.

Oops, "by looking" that is.

Rebelfish,

Thanks, I would like to check that out. Might take me a while to get to it though.

So after a few modifications, my paper got published in the Energy Policy journal. Unfortunately, as you've mentioned, scholarly articles are ridiculously expensive. It's hard to believe I wrote something worth $31.50! Let me know if you want me to email you the full article; I'm going to download it next time I'm at an academic institution that has a subscription.

Rebelfish,

Congrats on getting published! That is pretty cool. Hopefully you get a big cut of that $31.50, but somehow I bet you get nothing.

If its not too much trouble to email me a copy, I would like to check it out.
