That alone is evidence that wealth inequality is only going to increase going forward. Bad news even without considering dysgenic consequences...

AE,

Interesting point on inequality, I could see how that could happen. I wonder if there is any data out there that backs that up.

Interesting that the muslim (MENA) differential in fertility between rich and poor is much narrower than the rest.

Expect muslim immigrants to Europe to maintain high fertility rates for at least 3 generations before tapering down to about 1.5 X european rates.

Al,

Interesting point on the gap being less for the Middle East and North Africa. I don't know why that would be.

As for Muslims in Europe, do you think the greater fertility rates have to do with the fact they have less income, or do you think it is a cultural thing? Meaning, if Muslims had the same average incomes would they also have the same level of fertility?

I suspect that Muslim fertility rates in Europe will stabilise at about 1.5 X European rates after 2 or 3 generations with at least 2 to 3 X European FR. (cultural isolation + large proportion of unskilled/uneducated population on gov. assistance)

If Euro FRs stay under 1.5, Euros lose about 25% or more of their indigenous population every generation + any losses from emigration. The Muslim population increases for at least 2 or 3 generations by at least doubling each generation + gains from immigration (fertile female first cousins from the old country).
